POL 450 - International Law Examines the nature of international law (Is it law at all?) as well as such legal and quasilegal principles governing relations of states, including jurisdiction over territory and persons, the law of the sea, the nature and procedure of international adjudicatory bodies, the drafting and interpretation of treaties, and the law of war. Prerequisite: POL 101. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
