SHH 673 - Communication Disorders in Adults

A study of hate theoretical basis; prevention, diagnosis and management of adult language disorders resulting from the aphasias, right hemisphere impairment, traumatic brain injury and dementias. Special emphasis is given to various cultural perspectives as well as ethical, safety and legal aspects. Open to students in the M.S. program in communication sciences and disorders. Prerequisite: SHH 473 or equivalent. (3 cr. hr.)
