EDU 378 - The Social and Academic Curriculum I Introduction to the social curriculum, methods and strategies of classroom management, integrated with social studies theory and methods in grades one through six. Focused on self-efficacy and respectful participation in communities through cooperative relationships and skills of negotiation and problem-solving, with consideration of familial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and effects on child development. Corequisites: EDU 373, 374 and 379. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
