REC 603 - Historical, Philosophical and Theoretical Perspectives of Recreation and Leisure

(B) An in-depth analysis of the historical, philosophical and theoretical perspectives of leisure, recreation and play from ancient cultures to modern-day concepts. This foundation course focuses on historical and theoretical perspectives of leisure, the role of leisure and recreation throughout history in various cultures, and the evolution of leisure to its modern-day construct.
