PSY 520 - Psychopharmacology(O) The study of the biological bases of major psychiatric disorders and the medications used to treat these disorders. Special attention will be paid to neurochemical and neurological mechanisms involved in the disorders and the neurochemical mechanisms affected by psychopharmacological medications. Prerequisite: PSY 101 and six additional credit hours of psychology, preferably to include PSY 421. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
