SCI 525 - Innovation and Invention(C) Examination of the process of scientific and technological innovation and invention. Topics include the difference between innovation and invention, the impact of technological innovation and invention, patents versus trade secrets, and an introduction to reading, writing and submitting patents in the sciences. Prerequisite: 16 credit hours in science and/or mathematics or graduate standing. (3 cr. hr.)
