Understanding transactions, preparation of financial statements, internal control procedures, accounting for merchandisers and payroll accounting. Corporate accounting, stock and bond transactions, financial statement analysis, present value theory, receivables, plant assets, tangible and intangible assets. (3 cr. hr.)
