(B) This course provides an overview of the history of mathematics in various cultures from 3,000 B.C. into the 19th century, focusing on significant ideas that helped shape the discipline. Prerequisites: a grade of C- or above in MAT 224 and either MAT 122 or MAT 236. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
