ICC 145 - Introduction to Academic Language and University Practices

(A) Introduces international students — students whose first language is not English — to academic language and the American university system, practices and expectations. Special emphasis is placed on discipline-specific discourse conventions and assignments. Consent of department. (3 cr. hr.)
