AAS 296 - Katrina: Race, Class and Crisis

(S) An exploration of the many factors that led to the devastation of New Orleans, beginning with its location, the local government, and of course, the storm itself. Topics will include the impact of technology, politics, ideology, government, race, and social structure. Also listed as POL 296. (3 cr. hr.)
