EXS 427 - Globalization and Sport(O)Sociological and historical background as to how the Western world has colonized and globalized their brand of sport practices on a worldwide scale. Examination of the practices of sport on a global level with respect to labor, migration, media, politics, race, gender, environment, social stratification and an agency-structure theoretical perspective. Open to juniors and seniors.Prerequisites: EXS 345 and 420.(3 cr. hr.)
