REC 109 - Winter Camping

(O)Information and skills in order to travel and camp in snow and cold environments. Travel, safety and survival skills, shelters, clothing, equipment, cold injuries, illness and other topics. Winter trips to local or backcountry areas will be included. A special freewill be charged for field trip expenses. S/U grading.(1 cr. hr.)
