ESL 400 - Teaching Reading in the Second Language Classroom

(B)Provides a theoretical and practical grasp of several current views of first and second language reading; investigates diagnostic techniques which can be used to identify strategies of non-native readers, examines materials, teaching methods, and testing procedures used in foreign language and English as a Second Language (ESL) classrooms.Prerequisites: ESL 300 and 301.Fulfills Liberal Arts Requirement: LASR(3 cr. hr.)
