EXS 352 - Masculinity in Sport Investigation of how masculinity in sport is portrayed by the media, by educational systems and by other social institutions. Traditional and nontraditional views and experiences of being an athlete and socialized into accepting masculine values will be examined through student experiences, literature and cinema. This course will offer a variety of views and perspectives that will be different from the norms that are found in sport today. Excludes freshmen. Prerequisites: SOC 150 and EXS 287. (3 cr. hr.)
