CRM 375 - Sociology of Law Analysis of law with respect to its functions as a means of social control and its relationships with other social institutions. Topics include an interdisciplinary survey of jurisprudence, the natural law approach versus legal and cultural realism, law as a source of crime, the administration of justice, and law in non-Western cultures. Prerequisite: ANT 102 or SOC 100 or 150. Also listed as SOC 375. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
