ESL 404 - ESL Literacy in the Elementary School

(B) Methods of teaching emergent and beginning ESL readers, with an emphasis on developing oral language, phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, listening and reading comprehension, spelling and writing skills. Includes 40 hours of field experience. Prerequisite: ESL 300 or consent of department. (3 cr. hr.)
