REC 530 - Therapeutic Recreation Process I

(S) In-depth examination of the therapeutic recreation process — assessment, planning, implementation, documentation and evaluation — with a focus on assessment and planning. Additional topics include working with other health and human service professionals on interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary teams and principles and best practices in applying the therapeutic recreation process in a variety of health and human service settings. Lab is required. Prerequisite: REC 330; corequisite: REC 533. Not open to students with credit for REC 430. (3 cr. hr.)
