HLH 393 - Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health

(O) This survey course is designed to acquaint the student with fundamental principles of occupational safety and health hazard recognition, evaluation and control in the work place. Government regulations including OSHA, NIOSH, PESH and health-related labor-management issues will be discussed. (3 cr. hr.)
