EXS 489 - Exercise Science Research Methods

(F) This course provides students with integrated background in exercise science and prepares them for research testing in procedures commonly found in exercise science research. Students are introduced to current trends and research topics coupled with laboratory techniques in areas of motor behavior, biomechanics and exercise physiology. A two-hour laboratory session each week gives students hands-on experiences with computers and equipment. Prerequisites: PED 434 or EXS 201 or MAT 201 or PSY 201 or ECO 221 or COM 230; and EXS 297, 387 and 397. (3 cr. hr.)
