HIS 460 - The Holocaust

(C) Extermination of European Jews and millions of other European civilians during World War II studied in human and historical perspective. Course focuses on Nazi perpetrators' ideology of anti-Semitism and their machinery of destruction, the responses of the victims, and the action and inaction of the rest of the world. Prerequisite: HIS 100, 101, 110, 111, 150, JST 140, IST 200 or 210. Also listed as JST 460. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
