HIS 432 - World Environmental History

(C) Environmental change and cultural beliefs about nature from the 1600s to the present, with special attention to how the expansion of European market forces, cultures and political systems into the Americas, Africa and Asia influenced ecosystems, human uses of land and environmental attitudes. Prerequisite: HIS 100, 101, 110 or 111. (3 cr. hr.)
