EDU 378 - The Social and Academic Curriculum I(A) Introduction to the social curriculum, methods and strategies of classroom management, integrated with social studies theory and methods in grades one through six. Focused on self-efficacy and respectful participation in communities through cooperative relationships and skills of negotiation and problem-solving, with consideration of familial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and effects on child development. Corequisites: EDU 373, 374 and 379. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
