WST 100 - Approaches to Women’s Studies

(O)A survey of women’s studies that emphasizes the integration of the various approaches to the area. Topics will include: analysis of patriarchy and gender and their influence on family, work and public policy; the history of women and the women’s movement; sexuality and sex roles; connections among gender, race and class. Satisfies requirement for women’s studies minor.Fulfills: LASR.(3 cr. hr.)
