(O)Biological bases of major psychiatric disorders and the medications used to treat these disorders. Neurochemical and neurological mechanisms involved in the disorders and the neurochemical mechanisms affected by psychopharmacological medications. Open only to juniors and seniors.Prerequisites: Nine credit hours in psychology, preferably to include PSY 421.(3 cr. hr.)
